Momentum Jewerly Giveaway

Momentum Jewelry Review and Giveaway!!

Have you ever wanted a little extra motivation to get you to the end of a tough run?

Let’s just start this review and give-away off on a quick side note with the following information:

This review and give away is solely on my own. I am not being paid or provided any products from Momentum jewelry. I am providing my own opinions and views on the motivational wraps.

It all started back in January when I came across Momentum jewelry on Instagram and I really liked how they looked as well I really liked the cute motivational sayings they had engraved on each wrap.

Fast forward to when I travelled to Southern California for the Surf City Half Marathon in February, at the expo I came across the booth that was selling the Momentum Wraps. I kick myself in the butt thinking back with instead of buyer’s remorse I had the complete opposite as I didn’t purchase and I wished I had purchased after the fact. What I did learn from the lovely lady who was at the booth, was that you are able to wear them in the shower to wash them off and that they dry pretty darn quickly. I haven’t tried this with mine as I just toss my in with my running clothing in the wash and hang to dry.

When I got back home, and after a week I was checking posts on IG specifically the account of momentum jewelry when I came across a few of the sayings with their current campaign “Share the Spark” with unique and cute sayings that really hit home with my running journey “Never Give Up” and “You Got This” So pretty much right away I purchased 4 of the wraps, the hardest part was picking colours of the wraps. I loved everything that the company represents with this campaign share the spark, even though I am not an ambassador for the Momentum Jewelry Wraps, it is something I would love to be a part of in the near future if the opportunity becomes available to me, I know I would be very excited as I continue to Share the Spark I feel that I like to look at it as Sharing my Spark!!

The following is directly from their website providing the meaning behind the Share the Spark motivation movement.

The #sharetheSPARK campaign hits at the heart of Momentum – our goal is to inspire & motivate others, in their personal and athletic lives – to do more, be more, to support & celebrate more. We’ve designed 2 special #sharetheSPARK Motivate Wraps™: “NEVER GIVE UP” and “YOU GOT THIS!”. Two great sayings that are like giving someone a virtual pat on the back, like saying “Nice work – keep at it!” or a “Hey, I’m in your corner and I’m rooting for you!”

AMBASSADOR GIFTING: Over 80 worldwide Ambassadors will be sharing these special #sharetheSPARK Motivate Wraps in an effort to pass on a little extra inspiration and support to others. SPECIAL PRICE! We’ve lowered the price to an amazing $10/wrap so that you can more easily pass them on to friends, family, co-workers, neighbors – anyone who you feel could benefit from a little extra SPARK.

As you can see from above it is pretty inspirational what this company has set out to do with the passing of these Share the Spark wraps. So I have decided to have a little give-away to one lucky winner of a draw that I will be having. I want to share one of these wraps, the winner will have their choice to which share the spark wrap they would like.

Choice 1 or Choice 2:

I have worn the wraps on a few runs so far and as it is our wet winter here on the West Coast of Canada, I am either wearing a jacket or a long sleeve shirt in which the wraps are on top of my clothing.

So many products on the market available to the runner who wants to look stylist and have that extra bit of motivation while running the challenging distance whatever that may look like to them. We all need something to help us get through the rough parts of a race or a training run. What helps you get through the tough parts of training or a race? Are you a runner who likes to have a little saying either on your shoe, your wrist or do you take a sharpie pen and write something on your arm during a race?? I love to hear what you do to help you get through your toughest training run and or race??

  • What a fun giveaway! I tell myself, “You’ve got this!” a lot. We’ve got to be our own cheerleaders sometimes!

    • Tina, you are so right that we are our own cheerleaders! I have many times during the difficult times talked myself through a rough patch during a run (right before the GU’s kick in). I hope you took a moment to enter the give away to win one? And if you did, good luck in the draw!!

  • I love Momentum Jewelry. I have several of their wraps and they motivate me everyday.

  • I have bought 15 Share the Spark wraps so far to give out to people. The promo ends this week so I just stocked up on 4 more today:)

  • How cute are those! Love the meaning and movement! I definitely use motivational words and pictures during my hard training/race days. On my phone/iPod I had the famous but oh so fitting to the way I live “carpe diem” etched on the back. But my favorite motivational tool it’s in between my aero bars on my bike. I have a little laminated collage of motivation zip tied to my handle bars. Every time I drop my head down be it in defeat or an attempt to dig deeper I see my three little kids faces and motivational sayings propelling me faster and faster. Those souls inspire me and I want to inspire them. Of course it’s laminated so it is weather and sweat proof. It’s my favorite race day accessory! Love your journey girl and can’t wait until we race again!!

    • Yes they are super cute and you wouldn’t believe how soft they are. It is amazing how just a few words can really help us when we are struggling during a race or a training session. I love the idea that you have a picture of your children on your bike, they truly are beautiful children and their smiles would give you that extra push to get you to the finish line. It was so much fun one year ago us hanging out in a van of 6 women racing together as a team for the SoCal Ragnar race. I hope that our paths meet up again either with a race or a social family time. Your strength is so inspiring to me on a daily basis, if and when I decide to dip my toes into the Tri-racing I would love to have you has my support on the field, but not to take away from any of your race plans. More like how Karena is there for Katrina on her TRI races, a friend to experience the journey of the TRI race!!

  • My dogs are my main motivation. It’s hard to turn down a run when you have 2 noses nudging you awake at 4:30 am. Then when you actually get up they get SOOO excited just at the chance you might take them for a run. It’s really adorable but totally motivating too. So my advice for anyone who wants to get more fit: get a high energy dog like a border collie. It will work wonders, I swear.

    • Hi Michelle, your border collie is very lucky to have you as an owner. Who needs an alarm clock when you have such a general and loving nudge from your dog waking you up. I love seeing runners out with their dogs, it is so nice to see the relationship between the two. I wish I had more time to commit to having a dog, the time commitment is hard for our family. I had a dog back in the late 80’s into the early 90’s and it was so rewarding to have such a loving animal in our family. I am not closing the door on having another dog, just right now it isn’t the time for our family. We do love going up to our local shelter and visiting with the dogs.
